On September 24 I planted my Fall garden in Austin. The Spring/Summer garden did fairly well, but the drought and 100 degree temps killed us in August. I tilled up the dirt and put in some supplements to my soil that included Shale and Mushroom Compost along with some Lava Sand to help with my predominate clay soil. I pulled up the pepper plants that survived and then tilled up the remainder excluding the herbs that continue to do well which includes Oregano, Thyme, Sage and Rosemary along with chives and some wild green onions. I took a video of what I planted which included several types of lettuce, Kale, Basil and cilantro along with some seed plantings of carrots and beets. See the video for more.
